Apparently, we need to coordinate and communicate better. On one hand, David says that next month's presentation will be on Linux. On the other hand, at the meeting I talked to Fred about presenting next month on Jakarta's Bean Scripting Framework and how to embed scripting languages in your applications. One of the scripting languages supported by BSF is JRuby, which I thought would make a nice tie-in with Shashank's presentation.
On the gripping hand, there seemed to be a lot of interest in Linux last night. So, maybe that should be next month's presentation. I'd be happy to postpone BSF and JRuby until March if public opinion (or Fred's iron fist) says so.
Either way, I don't think a presentation on Squeak on a normal KCJPA meeting night would be out of line.
